Silent Absolution

As if it were a vision, a reality we both stood strong. Longing for the moments of the world we created. As the details that abdicated the words that our world came crumbling down. There’s silence as the echoes fade and the acrimony subsides for a silent absolution is heard. Our love that lies within us as our world slowly and silently collides.

Stones Thrown

The minute the stone was thrown a change in the flow created a chain reaction unto a world that became devastated into a fury of regret. The pain that grew deep within his veins and  became a turning point for she was no longer slayed. One moment, one ripple, one slip became her last as she drowned into the depths of anguish. Her tormented soul was forsaken, for even god turned away during this lapse of time as if the darkness embraced what was left to save.  Love is a stone thrown into the flow that can create ripples that forge the pain within ones veins. The beast lays silent and as god opened up his eye for the universe cried in pain as her heart became the last stone thrown into an empty pit of shame.

  1. I have been writing and producing art since I can remember. I have spiral books of poetry, stories and art work I did as a child. I love reflecting back to those emotions and experiences.

  1. Growing up two brothers was the best experience as I was involved with a balance of feminist and male driven activities. Such as fishing, videogames, target practice, ballet, playing music. I was able to become well rounded because of this.

Traveled to South American, traveled all over the U.S., taken road trips from Florida to California and Florida to Wisconsin. Been all over the Bahamas and even Canada. Questions from Sarah:

  1. Who is your favorite author?

I have several authors I absolutely love but one of my all-time favorites is Walt Whitman. He always spoke the truth in my perception. “Whatever satisfies the soul is truth.”-Walt Whitman

2. Are you a dog or a cat person?

I love dogs and cats but to answer this question I am a dog person. I love my dog, he is a little person with a beautiful soul and so much love he gives. Animals are so pure in heart it so hard to deny a soul that all they want is love.

  1. If you could have one movie on a desert island, what would it be?

Ok, so of all the movies I would want to see on a desert island I have narrowed down to a comedy as being on a deserted island I would want to laugh and smile regardless of the situation. This one is a hard question but I would bring “Step Brothers” “It’s the Catalina Wine Mixer”….

  1. Where would your dream vacation be?

My dream vacation would be to go to Italy. To immerse in the culture, the beautiful landscaping, the amour of the people. To see the art museums, the Vatican and the coast of Italy. Of course there are many places I would love to venture to but Italy would be one of my top picks.

  1. If you could write for any magazine in the world, which would you choose?

It would be an honor to write for the New Yorker.

  1. Someone hands you $1,000. What would you do with it?

If someone handed me a $1,000, I would give $500 to my mother and take her out to dinner and the other $400 I would put in savings. I know doesn’t sound so lustrous but it’s what I would do.

  1. What comes to mind when you think of homeless people?

Honestly, sadness comes to mind with the homeless. A majority of homeless are mentally ill and it breaks my heart.

  1. If you could go back in time and meet anyone, who would you want to meet and why?

I would go back and meet Jane Austin. Her writing as a female writer in a time where men were so dominant astounds me and her work itself is amazing. I absolutely love her.

  1. What is your favorite past time?

I am very fortunate to live near the beach. My favorite past time is to read outside in the beautiful beach air and take in all that surrounds me. The energy from the beach is the most amazing feeling to feel.

10. What kind of music do you love?

I do love so many types of music but what inspires me the most is classical. My great aunt when I use to visit her when I was younger would play classical every night before I went to bed. To this day as a stress reliever and as I do any writings or work I listen to classical.

11. If you could be really incredibly amazing at just one thing, what would you choose?

I would really like to be incredibly amazing in writing. I am still developing skills but I love to write and express my thoughts and feelings and I want to be incredibly amazing at it.

My nominations are:

Wanderlust Sunrise

The morning had arrived as evening had passed, the sun arose from the depths below as we began the days end. The breeze from the sea soften the morning sun as we plunged into the water, I could feel the depths of another world appear and reality seem to disappear yet, the immense beauty of morning made reality seem so surreal. Wanderlust was his name as he stood there with this captivating light, a nomadic aura searching for his next journey, curiously seeking a tantalizing satisfaction to his desires. Wanderlust with his enigmatic tone and virtuous eyes saw the world in a way that others could only perceive for his love of his creative mind. The immense beauty of life that surrounds the world, he is able to cherish each glimmering moment with his nomadic aura as wanderlust paves his way to an eclectic enigmatic beautiful life.

Claude Monet Impression Sunrise

“The grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls.” – John Muir

Congenerous Novels

Our lives are like congenerous novels filled with chapters denoting each part of our lives. An assortment of descriptive details, an accumulation of moments that we encounter and live each page, only to start a new page when we open our eyes to arise. Some books are worn and tattered the binding barely holding the pages within. Some books are scrupulous and untarnished as if it were freshly pressed as it lays there waiting to be read. We turn each page not knowing how the book will ever end yet, we digress losing focus of the moments we truly cherish and remember the times we regret. The regretful moments we try to edit but the ink bleeds and stains the page, leaving a mark on that chapter filled with the descriptive details of the moments we try to forget.  Each character we introduce, creates an ambiance that can draw us in and as we look onto the next page that character has already moved on and the next chapter begins. We write our chapters onto the congenerous novels we create, perplexed and bewildered as we end our day to only be empowered for the saga that continues each and every day.

Dignified Ignorance

They stood so dignified with their imperious demeanor and their glorified minds as if the spoon was spun out of gold. They follow the opportune moments that engulfs their imperious demeanor filled with an audacious command leading what they think is their assembly of spineless minds too weak to venture out of line. They procure this sense of entitlement to only find disappointment when their grandiose being is contused and their imperious demeanor is contrived and whittled away to a blank page set back to the prologue where no spoon existed and an era was created by a spawning of dignified ignorant fools…..A salute to the individualist nonconforming population, you will be the dignified competent acuity that will empower the mindless spines and become an era of dignified minds…

There laid a mask…

There laid a mask hidden behind his alluring tone, his inflection swooned as he conveyed his claim and never faltered his rule.  Each step cascading down the walkway to his realm there laid more masks that were never mentioned but just buried away for her to find and leave behind. Buried down, bounded and strapped onto a beautiful blinded mess for only he knew his lies would only crack the surface but never reach the depths of her beautiful elegance. Though blinded, she would be able to see the chaos that reaches far beyond what he could see, for a mask can only cover so much, till time withers away the façade and his weaknesses began to surface above. For it was a beautiful day of convenience filled with joy and gracious hope that the masks settled to only reveal the fate of two blinded and masked lovers hidden from each other as she returned to her realm as he was buried down, bounded and strapped onto a beautiful blinded mess.

Indifferent Apathy

Indifferent Apathy waited for the possibilities of what could be. He sat there waiting again for those moments that he could barely despair and believe. Indifferent Apathy walked along the narrowed ledge, losing his balance, his focus, losing his merry way again. He began a path that reached a sudden wall for the narrowed path gave in and the concrete ledge began to fall. The wall stood so still so tall, higher than the clouds that floated above the wall. Oh, how he seemed to be losing it all, oh, how his endearment yearned to be. He stood there wondering as he looked up to the endless sky, will there ever be lovely maiden revealing his love and opening his eyes to a new light. For he knew how Indifferent Apathetic he was, so callous, so blue, but his indifference became compassion and his apathy turned to warmth when he opened his eyes realizing she was standing there before him this whole time.

Disingenuous faces

Disingenuous faces speak our names as the manipulation of ones self for their own gain. Spoken words that the path will lead you to what is called the infamous ladder.  The ladder to success or the ladder of demise. How we believe those faces as we smile knowing their disingenuous intentions are meant with no appropriated demands. Perpetuating times for each day we arise, we function daily with the recompense of our daily labor pains. Arising each day with a smile that leads to a smirk as I know how it all plays. I can only check the king with my intellect but in the end the bureaucratic king will checkmate me . For I am captured into this manipulation as I too want to have my own self gain. I have to roll the dice and hope the disingenuous faces will follow with their spoken words but behind each door there’s  another king standing right there waiting with their disingenuous face.

Is blood thicker than water

We are all born into a dynamic twist of fate plunged into a life filled with individuals that we deem our family. Families suffer strife with different stories within each individuals path yet, those paths intertwine with the love is where it all began.  Blood is thicker than water when we need those in times of need. The connections run deep no matter how far or near we all reside and in those moments we know regardless of the silence or time they will always be. Those who have succumbed to another state of living we still feel the memories as if they have never left this world. A world we all create with those who we love and no matter the strife, family is family and once our branches brake another seed falls and another dynamic twist of faith begins.
